SMSF Compliance Administrator

Your Role:

We are currently seeking a strong administrator to predominantly focus on Superannuation compliance across our firm. The role would be ideally suited to someone who is a self-starter, with experience in technical administration or compliance in an accounting environment or someone with a paraplanning or corporate secretarial background who wishes to add value to our superannuation team.

The role is being offered part time, however we would be open to full-time hours for the right person with the ability to take on additional administrative and compliance related tasks for other areas of the business.

Sitting within the Client Experience team, key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparation of SMSF Compliance documentation
  • Data Feed management for Class Super
  • SMSF advice compliance, including preparing fact finds, assisting with Statements of Advice, maintaining AFSL registers and AFSL compliance requirements.
  • Onboarding of new SMSF clients
  • Continually looking for ways to streamline and improve efficiency and processes in SMSF compliance related tasks
  • Other software and general administrative duties

About You:

It is essential that you have:

  • Minimum 2-4 years in technical admin/compliance role or similar, ideally in a professional services or financial environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical competence with high attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude and a proactive and adaptable approach to tasks
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Experience in dealing with statutory bodies
  • Ideally some experience in using Class Super and Xplan software
  • Full Australian Working Rights (Essential)
