With 8 partners and around 90 staff, we have a loyal, professional and friendly team, a fantastic work culture, an outstanding work environment and a comprehensive staff well-being program.

Your Role:

We are currently seeking a strong administrator to predominantly focus on Superannuation compliance across our firm. The role would be ideally suited to someone who is a self-starter, with experience in technical administration or compliance in an accounting environment or someone with a paraplanning or corporate secretarial background who wishes to add value to our superannuation team.

The role is being offered part time, however we would be open to full-time hours for the right person with the ability to take on additional administrative and compliance related tasks for other areas of the business.

Sitting within the Client Experience team, key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparation of SMSF Compliance documentation
  • Data Feed management for Class Super
  • SMSF advice compliance, including preparing fact finds, assisting with Statements of Advice, maintaining AFSL registers and AFSL compliance requirements.
  • Onboarding of new SMSF clients
  • Continually looking for ways to streamline and improve efficiency and processes in SMSF compliance related tasks
  • Other software and general administrative duties

About You:

It is essential that you have:

  • Minimum 2-4 years in technical admin/compliance role or similar, ideally in a professional services or financial environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical competence with high attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude and a proactive and adaptable approach to tasks
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Experience in dealing with statutory bodies
  • Ideally some experience in using Class Super and Xplan software
  • Full Australian Working Rights (Essential)

Culture and Benefits:

We value work-life balance which is why this role is being offered with negotiable working hours. It is a fantastic opportunity to combine lifestyle and career, working in the modern, eco-friendly ‘Lifestyle Working’ building in Brookvale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. This unique light-filled space offers a heated pool (free to employees), gym, cafe and direct access to Warringah Mall. Our offices are Brookvale based, however we are currently working from home.

At Allan Hall, we recognise that people are our greatest asset. Our wellbeing program, branded THRIVE, was a finalist in Wellness programs in the 2019 Australian Accounting Awards and the AMP Women in Finance Awards 2019, recognising the exciting health and wellness initiatives, events and activities that we offer to our staff.

The wellbeing initiatives offered to our staff include monthly social staff events, subsidised gym and yoga classes and various activities in support of local charitable causes.
