About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Support Officer. The Business Support Officer is responsible for:

the provision of a confidential and comprehensive range of high-level administrative services to the Technical Regulator/Director Energy Regulation
assisting and liaising with a variety of high-profile stakeholders, including the Minister’s Office, the community, private industry and other government departments (both inter and intra-state)
the provision of high-level administrative support to all members of the Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR)
undertaking special projects, as required

Key Selection Criteria:
Proven well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally, which results in effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of staff and people at all levels.
Demonstrated experience in carrying out the scope of responsibilities of a Business Support Officer working at executive level, dealing with people at all levels within the public and private sector on complex and sensitive confidential issues.
Experience in providing secretarial services at committee meetings, preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to and encourage a culture of teamwork and take a shared responsibility for achieving results with an approach to work that emphasises accuracy and thoroughness.

Remuneration:
ASO3, $63,681 - $67,868
Full time role, working 37.5 hours per week

Special Conditions:
This is an ongoing vacancy
Some out of hours work, intra and interstate travel may be required
Engagement in this role may be subject to a satisfactory background screening check
