Full-Time Apprenticeship - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, 2nd or 3rd stage.

Our client, a large engineering company located in Kalgoorlie has an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for a comprehensive work and learning experience. The ideal applicant will have previously been signed up as an apprentice and looking for a new workplace to continue their apprenticeship. Ideally they will have at least completed their first year and progressed into their second year. This position is suited to locals residing in Kalgoorlie or surrounding suburbs.

You will work as part of a professional team responsible for working on a global manufacturer’s equipment for the Mining Industry.

The successful candidate must possess the following minimum requirements:


• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality workmanship
• A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
• Able to get on with others and be a team-player
• Strong attitude towards safety
• Commitment to attendance
• Committed to a program of on the job learning and formal training
• Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
• If required, must be able to travel to Perth where the client’s main workshop is based
• Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or relevant right to work visa
• Require C class Driver’s Licence (manual)

Highly Desirable:

• Completed year 10 with pass grades in Math and English
• Previous exposure or a keen interest in the Mining / Mobile Plant Industry

Candidates must be available throughout the recruitment process which will include:

• Aptitude testing
• Two rounds of interviews
• Must pass a pre-employment screening questionnaire which includes pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
