About The Role

The role provides a range of high quality executive and administrative support functions to the ASTP Director and Executive team, coordinating and supporting the delivery of key priorities within the Assisted School Travel Program.

About The Assisted School Travel Program

The Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) provides transportation services for students with additional needs from home to school and back to ensure all eligible students are able to access education in NSW public schools.

The program transports approximately 11 000 students annually to over 800 schools, including non-government schools and schools across state borders, utilising over 3000 runs and 1500 Assisted Travel Support Officers.

ASTP is a business unit within the Student Support and Specialist Programs Directorate attached to School Performance North and is located at Wollongong State Office.
