Edmen is a staffing specialist with over 20 years of experience providing high quality staffing solutions to Disability Service Providers across Australia.

The role:

Edmen are seeking 10 Disability Support Workers to work in Sunshine Coast. You will support young people & adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and provide assistance with personal care/hygiene, medication support, use manual handing equipment for transfers, medical appointments, social activities and other aspects of daily living.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 months experience as a Disability Support Worker
• Current Blue & Yellow 
• Current Australian Drivers License and be willing to transport people in your car when required
• Current First Aid and CPR qualification or be willing to obtain these
• You will need the ability to be flexible and resilient in various challenging situations
• Have experience with personal care, using manual handling equipment & assisting with medication medications
• Demonstrated experience working with BOC (behaviours of concern)
• Be able to work a 24/7 hrs rotating roster which will include on call and emergency shifts
