ABOUT THE BUILDER

This long standing, well respected Top Tier contractor completes a range of Government and private building projects throughout Australia. Their forte is in more complex projects that have a high level of technical engineering, services or unique site environment.

ABOUT THE WORK THEY DO

They actively target Health, Education (especially tertiary) and Commercial projects over $200 mil. 

The work they target is D&C, ECI and Managing Contractor projects, requiring a team approach where each member is actively engaged to use their experience and ideas through the value management process.

In addition they use the latest technology throughout the business and are committed to leading the industry in this area. Incorporating a cutting edge Management and Communications Platform and BIM in the business.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

They have recently secured a $300mil mixed use commercial project that is now underway. As a result they require a Project Engineer or Senior Project engineer to join the team. Initially you will be working across the entire project, but as it progresses you will be given a number of trade packages to manage based on your strengths and career development requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

Due to the nature of the projects they undertake it would be preferred, but not essential, for the person to have experience with a Top Tier or upper Mid Tier contractor working on large complex projects that are EBA sites and involve either multiple private and/or institutional stakeholders.
