About the Role

Due to the rapid growth of our business, we are currently seeking an experienced ICT Sales Representative to join our sales team. We anticipate that a successful candidate for this role will be performing the following key duties and tasks:

  • Develop and expand a portfolio of potential clients through channel networking and retail marketing
  • Maintain awareness and keep abreast of technical specifications and industry trends for electronic security related hardware and software products
  • Prepare and conduct sales visits and product presentations to establish sales opportunities
  • Communicate timely with existing and prospective clients to retrieve their feedback and put forward opinions and suggestions in order to fully understand and assess their specific needs
  • Provide technical advice on product features and its application to ensure the client’s needs are met
  • Conduct pre-sale quotation and negotiation wit the clients and complete the subsequent purchase orders and contracts
  • Work closely with other colleagues to arrange the delivery, installation and after-sale services
  • Deal with the clients’ enquiries about problems and faults and refer them to the technical colleagues where appropriate
  • Engage in sales reporting and contribute to sales targets set for the sales team
  • Maintain network with existing clients in order to carry out effective customer relationship management and promote additional products or further upgrades
  • Attend trade exhibitions and industry events when required

About You

In order to be qualified for this role, it is expected that you have met the following criteria prior to applying for this job:

  • At least 2 years relevant experience within the industry;
  • Profound knowledge of electronic security related hardware and software products;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Being a strong team player;
  • Having self-motivation and a competitive, results-driven attitude;
  • Confident presentation skills and a professional telephone manner; and
  • Time-management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
