Fixed term (11 month), Grade 3 Clinical Psychologist - Healthcare Worker Wellbeing. 36 hours per week, job share considered.


Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.


We have an exciting opportunity for a grade 3 clinical psychologist to deliver wellbeing programs to healthcare workers as part of a Department of Health funded project. This is an 11 month fixed term, part time (36 hours per week) position and job share will be considered. The clinical psychologist will support the development and delivery of psychology and creative therapy wellbeing programs and training at Austin Health and four of our close community partners. The position will work closely with the project team including creative therapists, managers and key stakeholders.


To be successful in this role, key selection criteria include:



  • Current registration with the AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.

  • A minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience in providing psychological services within health or hospital based settings or in wellbeing programs.

  • Demonstrated capacity to liaise across teams and work with a range of different stakeholders.

  • High level interpersonal skills that promote team development and engagement, and an ability to relate to people at all levels within an organisation

  • Excellent written and verbal skills.

  • Current Driver’s license.
