About us

All the Green Things is a privately owned business open 7 days a week, specialising in indoor plants, pots and workshops. Our business is now expanding to incorporate 'green' eco-friendly gifts and products in a brand new up-market residential/retail development opening in May in West End. We will be launching this store as a pop-up for an initial term of 3 months. With expansion, comes an opportunity for a passionate, experienced and highly motivated manager to work alongside the owner to develop, streamline and implement new processes and policies for our two shops.The position will require hands on retail shifts as well as back of office management duties. Business development and social media skills are an advantage. While this initially is a short term contract, the success of the business could lead to a possible extension to permanent for the right candidate.

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience in a Store Management essential
Business acumen and 'smarts'
Ability to lead and also to self direct
Passion for growing our people, by having the ability to motivate others
Knowledge of indoor plants and eco friendly products is an advantage however a basic knowledge and a willingness to learn is desired
Outstanding organisational and problem solving skills
Exceptional communication skills
A professional and courteous demeanour with a can do attitude
Social media experience highly regarded

Tasks & responsibilities

Hands on in store retail sales.
Implementation of systems and procedures to ensure we are working smarter not harder.
Manage roster of a small team over two stores.
Assist with new store layout and setup.
Develop, manage and oversee store operations including ordering of stock.
Maximise sales and profit for the store, including contributing to social media posts
Assist development of KPIs and Company objectives
Stock maintenance, ordering and visual merchandising
