The Role

The Marketing Coordinator role is a newly created position responsible for effectively coordinating and implementing a variety of marketing initiatives and campaigns across corporate and projects. The role works closely with our marketing agency to deliver on the business and marketing objectives including social media, digital, print, production and photography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with the team, clients and suppliers
  • Implement integrated communication and marketing strategies together with the Directors, Senior Management and our marketing agency
  • Operate as a lead point of contact for our marketing agency
  • Provide in-depth briefs to the creative team on design tasks and provide concise and constructive feedback
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions that adhere to, and exceed business needs and expectations
  • Content curation across communication, digital and social channels
  • Manage production of marketing materials including sourcing of quotes and liaising with external stakeholders
  • Collation and development of periodic reports in relation to projects/campaigns
  • Assist in delivering tactical marketing and project meetings and administrative duties, including prompt follow up (agenda, minutes, etc)
  • Stakeholder management - key team members are kept informed and up-to-date with deliverables

The Marketing Coordinator will

Skills and requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a marketing role with exposure to a broad range of marketing channels
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred, but not essential
  • An understanding of social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills including copywriting for websites, email campaigns and social media and engaging with guests on social media
  • Strong time management and organisation skills and a self-driven attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Strong attention to detail
