About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and energetic State Sales Manager - QLD to join our team, based at Rocklea. Reporting to the General Manager of Sales, the State Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales and account management strategies to achieve growth targets. This is achieved through leading a team of account managers and generating loyalty with top tier customers through building long term relationships. This position is critical to achieving market share and revenue targets for REMONDIS.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in managing a sales teams and sales support teams
  • Self-motivated individual with strong leadership and people skills who is results driven and motivated by success
  • Highly experienced in collaborating and developing strong positive interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workloads in a high-pressure sales environment
  • Experience in implementing process improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel, and CRM management
  • Professional approach with excellent communication skills, presentation, written and oral
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Current Drivers Licence


  • Previous experience in Industrial Services and/or Waste Management Industry
  • Exposure to the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) industries

What's Involved?

  • Managing and developing a team of salespeople that cover our SME customers right up to our major accounts.
  • Actively seek out and develop profitable new business opportunities for the Commercial and Industrial division with top tier clients
  • Maintain existing top tier client base through direct contact with client representatives
  • Assist Operations and HSEQ with the identification and management of risks at customer sites; and
  • Manage and Develop reports on Sales Activity, Customer Activity and Sales Issues as required.
  • Investigate enhancements to procedures and processes that achieve improvements in performance, job satisfaction, and productivity
