POSITION SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Education level, knowledge and work/industry experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, and/or a related field

Enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with major technology programs

Ability to understand and be responsive to customer needs and to advocate for customer success

Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform

Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team and a willingness to take ownership of problems

Strong presentation and facilitation skills - must be able to deliver workshops and strategize at a C level.


Professional/technical skills

5+ years of experience leading projects in a consulting environment

Salesforce implementation experience utilizing proven project management processes and framework preferred.

Experience in delivering projects using the Agile development framework

Ability to manage the team through entire project lifecycle to include: requirements, design, development and configuration, quality assurance and testing, change management and training


Behavioral (e.g. negotiation skills, presentation skills)

Consulting skills - ability and want to act as a trusted adviser to clients and peers

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to have presence in a meeting environment

Ability to prepare and deliver workshops/training

Presales capability and interest in business acumen

Contribution to internal community in the form of blogs and conducting topic talks or lunch and learns.


RESPONSIBILTIES 


Manage Salesforce projects through the SDLC process and/or an agile, iterative process.

Understand the client’s business to design effective processes, organizations, and change and learning programs to drive real business benefits.

Create and execute improvement plans adapted to the client environment.

Mentor clients, work on projects independently, participate as a team member, or lead teams of less experienced consultants and/or clients to successful project delivery.

Work in multiple disciplines across industries and build client knowledge and credibility quickly (projects vary in length, lasting anywhere from a few weeks to several months).

Design and conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.

Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.

Drive continuous improvement of project management strategies and methodologies.

Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and leadership team to manage initiatives that deliver crucial business capabilities.
