This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
What you'll be doing
The position is accountable for the provision of Occupational Therapy Services to all consumers in the Wyong Older Persons Mental Health Inpatient Unit; individually or as a group.
The Occupational Therapy Position is responsible for providing inpatient based assessment, intervention and rehabilitation, within the multidisciplinary team. Occupational Therapy is provided according to the Occupational Therapy Departments established standards of practice, policies and procedures.
