To ensure the provision of a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to patients of the organisation, including optimising patient outcomes by working with colleagues and other Health Care Professionals to enhance the Quality Use of Medicine (QUM). 
The Senior Pharmacist – Surgical and Critical Care is responsible for a clinical and leadership role in the provision and further development of a clinical pharmacy service to surgical and critical care patients in the hospital in line with agreed organisational priorities.
