About the role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director Workplace Services is responsible for designing and executing the departments office accommodation strategy and leading and driving the accommodation function with a focus on improving ever changing accommodation needs as well as drive continuous improvement in business operations and processes to ensure the department is agile and flexible in its approach to accommodation needs.

The role collaborates with senior leaders across the Cluster and Public Sector to develop and implement innovative and sustainable workspace strategies and programs of work across the Public Sector as well as develop internal accommodation policies that are consistent and fit for purpose across a variety of workspace locations across the State. The role is also required to provide expert advice to senior leaders based off market trends and best practice to assist leaders in decision making regarding accommodation strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong service delivery experience, preferably at the executive level. You will be a true innovator and will thrive in challenging the status quo and developing innovative solutions in an ever-changing world of office accommodation. This role requires a strong collaborator and negotiator who can work across multiple and diverse stakeholders and find solutions and options to suit all. You will also be a strong leader who can manage a small team and lead them to success.
