Salary

$66,421 to $91,807 per annum

in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service Agreement) 2019

  • Access to the Grade 4 salary range $85,950 - $91,807 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.

Period of Employment

Fixed term, full-time, day work, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 15 April 2022.

Fixed term, full-time, part time, shift work (fully rotational), working up 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 16 April 2022.

Please also note that this process may be used to fill fixed term and casual opportunities as they arise.

Duties

  • Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.

  • In collaboration with members of the healthcare team plan, implement and evaluate patient/client care.

  • Support Transition to Practice staff.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
