Job Description

If you are looking for a career that is fulfilling, challenging and rewarding, with further potential for growth in allied health, positive behavior support and counselling, then becoming the Specialist Support Coordinator for ITEC Group Australia is for you! 

You will have:

  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and local supports
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in report writing and case notes
  • Ability to monitor client budgets
  • Ability to promote the growth and development of this new business in our Adelaide branch.
  • The ability to engage with various stakeholders including external services building strong and effective working relationships.
  • Experience in managing a complex caseload of clients, while being able to adapt to other various client needs and demands
  • Be able to ensure compliance and legislation is always adhered to and developing frameworks to support this
  • High level of time management and organisational skills

Desired Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will need: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, disability, community services or similar field OR relevant experience, with appropriate memberships
  • Experience working with people in justice/disability/psychosocial disability sectors, in a case management/therapeutic or support coordination capacity
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as be part of a team
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong understanding and respect for Indigenous culture
  • Have a current driver’s license
  • Hold or are able to obtain a current police check
  • Hold or are able to obtain current DCSI Working with Children 
  • Hold or are able to obtain current DCSI Disability or National NDIS Working Screening Clearance 
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency
