About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Project Co-ordinator Learning and Development, who can be based either at Head Office or regionally.

The primary role of the Project Coordinator Learning and Development is to facilitate the successful delivery of training projects as assigned including monitoring and reporting and the provision of advice to senior management and key stakeholders. You will be part of a team responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the activities outlined in the program management plan at the project level, facilitating achievement of project outcomes within specified timeframes, within or below budget and to the satisfaction of the program manager and relevant stakeholders while ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.

Further detailed responsibilities will include:

• Conducting planning and development activities and coordinating the implementation and delivery of projects, utilising appropriate control tools and mechanisms to ensure project outcomes are achieved.

• Coordination of program activity to ensure compliance to project guidelines and monitoring and providing regular reports on project progress.

• Developing and maintaining document control and reporting procedures for senior management and project teams in relation to reporting, plans, budgets, and risks.

• Developing specifications, standards and policy related to projects.

• Liaising with senior management and other key stakeholders as appropriate (both internal and external) on policy and program development and implementation issues associated with the project and initiatives.

• Actively identifying emerging pressures and possible issues and initiating risk management. And coordinating the resolution of any such matters in consultation with senior management and project managers.

About You:

To succeed in this key role, you will ideally be tertiary qualified but you must have a valid Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a strong understanding of the arrangements, standards and environment of an RTO will be highly regarded. You will have demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating projects and an understanding of project management methodologies and ideally have proven experience in a related role within a large, complex organisation.

You will be assisted by your well-developed written communication skills; your proven administrative skills and your ability to utilise a variety of enterprise wide systems and applications. You will be highly organised, motivated and be keen to further your career within our close-knit and professional team.
