Grade 1, Year 3-7
Permanent Full Time
(80 hrs per fortnight) with ADO
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our professional Allied Health team at Wimmera Health Care Group. This permanent full time position is available immediately and includes working Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will provide acute, sub-acute, outpatient and community health services on a rotating basis in collaboration with other team members. The Occupational Therapist will deliver high quality evidence based clinical services as well as actively participating in quality and service improvement projects within the department. Professional Development is supported through regular in service education, professional support from colleagues and the provision of support to attend continuing education.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Current Victorian driver’s licence
- Current Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Membership of OT Australia
- Commitment to quality and evidence based practice
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound organisational and self management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
- Commitment to rural health and working within a rural health organisation
