The Role

You will lead a team of specialists responsible for driving and managing the overall performance of the Disaster Response & Events Claims team, including their local program of work, historical and current event performance, operational performance as well as working with their regional counterparts to ensure supply chain capacity is available to support events.

The role also manages operational support for the broader Disaster Response & Event Claims team including client manager, major loss and assessing teams to ensure a smooth day to day operation including working with the leadership team to execute workforce management and workload allocation as well as support in the execution of Home Claims and Best in Class Claims change activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively work with Leaders within the region to provide visibility and drive outcomes for improved Event and HC performance, highlighting opportunities and successes that can be shared across the business for historical and current Event claims
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service through supporting the implementation of business improvement initiatives to drive customer service quality and increased efficiency
  • Drive improved customer, cost and quality outcomes in line with financial targets by establishing exceptional stakeholder relationships through robust performance management and engagement frameworks and communication models
  • Collaborate with regions to drive best in class business and customer outcomes with the Supply Chain who supports Event claims
  • Operationalise workforce planning across DREC to drive efficiencies and optimal customer outcomes.
Skills & Experience
  • Qualifications within one or more of the following professions: Finance, Procurement, Legal, Risk, Data Analytics, Project Management or Trade experience
  • Previous experience within supply chain or supply management
  • Previous management experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Supply chain or vendor management experience
