An excellent full time, permanent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Specialist to join our Defence team in our Kings Park location.

What you will do:

  • Manage Defence ILS Product programmes of work packages. This includes the configuration and build data and ILS document development along with delivery against project schedule and customer requirements.
  • Develop the ILS documents necessary to satisfy individual project requirements. This includes Planned Maintenance Documentation, Sparing Analysis, Technical Manuals, Training Material and Conformance Certification.
  • Develop scalable ILS Documentation processes that improve accuracy and efficiency of delivery in Defence Projects.
  • Manage Project technical data such as Master Record Index, Bill of Materials, System Test Plans and Maintainability and Reliability Data, ensuring that technical accuracy and configuration management requirements are met.
As an ideal candidate you will have:
  • Minimum 3 years' proven experience in undertaking ILS roles, preferably in a defence environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or ILS related disciplines
  • Possess a clear understanding of the logistics engineering process as applied to complex projects.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Excel, Project, Word & PowerPoint;
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively, but can also operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills.
  • Possess sound organisational skills and the ability to carry out responsibilities effectively and efficiently
  • Australian Citizenship holding or eligible for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance to a minimum of Baseline.
