You’ll participate in clinical supervision and complete activities as negotiated with your supervisor, contribute to quality improvement initiatives and take part in workplace education to to contribute to improved care for patients/ clients and their families.

You will need to develop and demonstrate cultural competence and a commitment to improving the health outcomes of Aboriginal people.

Nyngan is situated by the Bogan River on the eastern edge of the Great Outback, 583 kilometres northwest of Sydney and less than a two-hour drive from the major city of Dubbo, home to the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

The Nyngan Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 42-bed facility offering both acute and residential aged care services. Nyngan MPS has 24-hour emergency care, palliative care, renal dialysis and a range of ambulatory care and primary and community health services.
