Round Oak Minerals (Round Oak) is an owner operator emerging base and precious metals producer with a number of Australian based mining and processing operations. 

Round Oak are now recruiting an experienced Underground Electrician at our Jaguar Mine operation, based in Jaguar (60kms north of Leonora, WA) on a 14:7 FIFO roster. This role is to provide day to day maintenance of the underground mobile and fixed plant/equipment.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Perform any planned maintenance including breakdown repairs as directed
• Ensure reliability of all underground electrical infrastructure
• Install and maintain underground communications systems
• Install, maintain, and calibrate remote loader infrastructure
• Test equipment and ensure safety compliance
• Complete statutory testing and ensure records are kept up to date
• Complete paperwork – PM sheets, timesheets, work orders etc.
• Complete HV switching operations

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A Grade Electrical Licence (WA)
• Electrical Trade Qualification plus all relevant tickets (HV Switching, EWP, LF, WAH etc.)
• Minimum 2 years Underground Mining operational experience is essential
• Underground communications installation and maintenance
• Underground dewatering maintenance experience
• Previous experience with underground drills
• HV Switching experience
• RCT remote loader experience
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Suite
• Pronto/CMMS experience desirable
