Due to continued growth we now have the opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler to join our Projects Department.

Reporting to the Projects Controls Manager the position is offered on a maximum term contract and will be based at our Perth Head Office, with visits to project sites as required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Actively promote and adhere to all Linkforce HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Comply with and support development of company Quality Management Systems, processes and procedures
  • Work with Project Managers and Coordinators to develop and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules of projects during tender or execution
  • Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, baseline, status, and perform progress measurement
  • Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports
  • Gather and analyse information to prepare reports on the progress of projects.
  • Site visits or periods onsite based on project needs during construction periods or shut-downs
  • Support the project management team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects, including dashboard maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems
  • Facilitate and participate in weekly schedule reviews
  • Training of Supervisors, Superintendents & Project Manager to learn, or increase skills in, project scheduling company wide

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree/experience combination in project management and/or engineering would be highly regarded
  • Minimum of 5 years project experience
  • Experience using Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel is essential
  • Experience using PowerBI or equivalent is desirable
  • Superior interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills, including the ability to motivate and influence others, build effective interpersonal relationships, and be
  • Able to foster and contribute to a positive and productive team environment
  • Creative and innovative with assignments.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
  • Able to embrace and participate in change initiatives
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and writing skills, including writing functional and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working for a construction contractor in the mining/resources industry is highly desirable
  • Full Australian work rights and be a resident of Perth
  • A valid West Australian C class drivers' licence or national equivalent
  • Be able to successfully complete ongoing Alcohol & Other Drugs Screens
  • Be available to spent periods of time away from home

This role requires you to be able to provide a National Police Clearance prior to commencement of employment.
