Job Summary/Introduction

Adecco are recruiting for various Claims Officer positions with case management experience. This is a temporary assignment in a federal government department. Based in Perth CBD you will have the opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team. Training is provided, however a positive and open-minded attitude is essential.

Description

We need suitably skilled and experienced candidates that can:

  • Show empathy and patience for individual circumstances.
  • Manage a high volume portfolio of cases
  • Chasing up documents and referral letters, mainly from healthcare providers
  • Process Health care claims and advise on claim outcomes
  • Follow set complex processes and procedures as outlines by Team leaders and Managers

Candidate's Profile

  • Experience working within the health care sector is highly desired
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience for individual's circumstances is essential
  • Previous experience working within a claims or injury management team is highly regarded
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Previous customer service experience over the phone
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Exceptional communication skills is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to follow process, policy and legislation
  • Resilience, and ability to work effectively in a team
  • 3-5 years administration experience preferred
  • National Police Clearance
