We are currently seeking experienced and customer focused Clerical Officer to join our client’s business unit in Broome. Full-time hours are available with the view to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities: Under the immediate supervision of the Finance and Administration officer:
  • Assists with the provision of administrative and clerical support to district staff, including revenue, banking, wages timesheet submission and corporate filing responsibilities.
  • Provides front counter and telephone receptionist services including enquiries regarding park access and park entry, campsite, mooring bookings and boat tour bookings.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have previous clerical administration experience along with outstanding customer service, organisational and time management skills.
You will be required to have proven clerical skills, Sound computer literacy skills with intermediate skills in Outlook and MS Word, and accurate data entry abilities.
  • Experience in providing reception services and administrative support.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to show initiative, exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Sound computer skills, specifically in the use of MS Office and databases.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Current police clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • High standards of honesty, integrity, reliability and professionalism.
  • Bookkeeping experience (Desirable)
  • Experience in working in a cross-cultural environment (Desirable).
