About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join the National Property & Network Development Team on a 10-month fixed term contract. The Assistant Property Manager works closely with the National Property Manager, Landlords, Managing Agents, the Network Development Team, Internal Stakeholders and others to oversee all aspects of maintaining the portfolio of company stores. The successful incumbent will have excellent communication skills, be detail orientated & organised, have a professional and proactive approach, prior experience in a similar role and can work under pressure.

This role includes the responsibility for (but not limited to):

  • Assist as required in preparing annual budget for all retail leasing within the portfolio, prepare monthly reports
  • Provide advice to internal stakeholders regarding lease obligations, options etc
  • Provide clear and precise instructions to Legal Dept on lease matters in particularly when arranging execution of Legal Docs
  • Work closely with Property Manager on leasing and corporate sales and other matters as instructed
  • Maintains master data including store details, reporting (regular & ad-hoc) and communications that support both internal & external activities throughout the business
  • Assist with lease negotiations, disputes, managing the renewals of lease agreements and the Sale of Store documentation on lease assignment
  • Arrange additional storage for Priceline stores in the form of short-term storage licences
  • Coordinate Vendor setups and processing of rent in advance for new stores
  • Prepare and manage payment of contribution invoices for PL & CSC
  • Preparation and circulation of Business Cases (White Papers & Brand Approval)
  • Foster and maintain relationships with landlords and real estate agents and other retailers
About you

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • Undergraduate qualification in a property business related discipline
  • Previous experience and exposure within retail property (desirable)
  • Proven ability in driving cultural change with a demonstrated collaborative style
  • Ability to share information with others in a highly effective and influential manner
  • Financial and accounting skills
  • Commitment to completing tasks accurately and with high attention to detail
  • Significant level customer engagement focus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and within a team
  • Data interpretation and ability to interpret and communicate
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Contract law
  • Knowledge of Lease Eagle, Sentient and Basware an advantage
