The role:

This is a strategic role that acts delivery lead across key customer marketing projects within 1:1 communications and loyalty. You will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of the loyalty strategy, including RFP process for loyalty platform.

This role enables the customer marketing division by leading the scoping and project management of new initiatives driven by regulatory, technology, internal change.

You will also be leading the Brand & Marketing activation and optimisation of key customer marketing partnerships as well as managing regulatory programs.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Scoping and implementing new initiatives that impact customer marketing, engaging with internal working groups to understand the change, acting as an advocate for the brand and marketing team and communicating back to the team.
  • Scope and project manage new initiatives driven by regulatory, technology, internal change, ensuring projects are successfully implemented within timelines and budget
  • Develop project plans outlining the rollout of new initiatives, engaging legal and risk where appropriate
  • Engage stakeholders across brand and marketing, digital, contact centre, data teams, legal, risk and ensure appropriate sign offs.
  • Lead on strategic projects across customer marketing, developing strategy papers with financial benefits and impacts, and obtaining senior stakeholder buy-in
  • Support with the development of the overall loyalty roadmap of program features and enhancements to drive high reward usage and product uptake 
  • Develop 1:1 strategy for partnerships, ensuring value is delivered for both parties
  • Work with 1:1, digital and loyalty Leaders and the wider B&M team to ensure alignment of the Customer Marketing program to business goals
  • Lead the scoping and if required the transition of loyalty programs, engaging technology, data, contact centre, digital and brand teams to ensure it is successful
  • Develop testing and QA testing to mitigate risk of technology rollout and campaign implementation

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing
  • 5+ years work experience in a Direct/Digital Marketing environment with strong project management experience
  • Excellent project management and workflow management skills across complex programs of work
  • Strong strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities to deliver demonstrable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing loyalty and 1:1 customer marketing programs
  • Good knowledge and understanding of data driven marketing and the ability to apply theory into practise
  • Solid understanding of technology and ability to engage with technology teams to ensure risks are understood and project requirements are delivered within time and budget
  • Proven ability to research complex topics and assess impacts and opportunities for the business
  • Expertise in defining digital analytics, managing attribution and data driven marketing strategies that
  • Ability communicating complex and detailed information simply and effectively
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly effective communication and consulting skills
