Our services include Community Health, Mental Health, NDIS, Counselling, Support for Older Australians and Family Services.
Who We’re Looking For
As part of our Primary Health team at Ferntree Gully, EACH is looking for two talented Receptionists to join us on a full-time, ongoing basis. You will primarily be based at our Francis Crescent, Ferntree Gully location, however, working at our other Outer East Primary Health locations may be required.
Ideally, you will have prior experience in the Community Health Care setting, in a medical clinic, or working in public dental clinics. You will need to be able to juggle a busy reception area, whilst providing high quality service to customers. If you love doing administrative tasks, have experience in reception, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you are exactly the person we're looking for.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will need to enjoy using your multitasking skills whilst holding the important role of being the face of our sites. The role will involve:
- Managing a busy reception area, which services more than 200 customers per day
- Welcoming customers to our sites and liaising with them with empathy and in a calm manner
- Supporting our team of professionals with administrative tasks and supporting them throughout the day
- Entering/uploading customer details and files into our customer record management systems
- Taking the initiative to negotiate, resolve issues and make decisions when needed
- Looking for ways to innovate and continuously improve how we do things
You will be working with our team of 17 staff, including Oral Health and Allied Health professionals at our Outer East Primary Health sites. We work in a fast-paced manner, supporting the community with a vast range of services. We have 13 Dental chairs operating across our sites, at any given time.
