The role

This is a rare opportunity for a strategically focussed senior Business Services professional to join our executive management team. Based in Perth, and reporting to the Executive Vice President – APAC & Americas, this role is responsible for providing critical support and leadership across the support functions including Governance, Commercial, Procurement, Contracts, Project Controls, Administration, Risk Management and Quality. Working collaboratively with the Operational Executive, the Head of Business Services will lead the Support Function teams to ensure delivery of business objectives with consistency and compliance.

Responsibilities include:

· Leadership of the business support functions across the Region, ensuring a collaborative, efficient work culture exists across the various functions

· Development, implementation and achievement of the Business services strategy ensuring alignment with Global and Regional operational business objectives

· Direction and coordination of the interface between the support functions and operational and delivery teams within the business

· Management of systems, processes, templates and tools to achieve operational efficiency

· Delivery of key reporting metrics

· Development, review and implementation of key policies and procedures

Success in this role will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience in leading large cross functional teams
  • Strong project delivery skills, preferably in an EPC/M environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen
