About The Role

McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust.) Pty Ltd are currently recruiting for a Planner to join the project delivery team in Adelaide, South Australia.

Working alongside both the project delivery and new business teams, this role will be responsible for planning and scheduling actives in the region.

Responsibilities Include

  • Manage the planning and controls functions for the project(s);
  • In consultation with relevant project personnel, establish and maintain accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements;
  • Update schedules on a regular basis to accurately reflect current status of progress;
  • Amend schedules to reflect changes to the project scope;
  • Responsible for the efficient and effective project implementation of project management software for the project to provide accurate forecasting and progress reporting;
  • Develop and maintain s-curve reports and provide overall progress reports and other matters related to schedule as required by the Project Manager;

About You

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or minimum 5 years relevant industry planning/scheduling experience;
  • Competent in planning and organizing work schedules;
  • Knowledge of project planning systems, in particular Primavera Software P6;
  • Knowledge of risk management systems;
  • Ability to read technical drawings;

  • Have valid working rights in Australia.
