ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for consulting with business stakeholders to identify and document business processes and analyse gaps to enable the development of improvement strategies to support the strategic and operational goals of business process owners.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Process Analyst with demonstrated capability to map process models and knowledge of process modelling notation standards with a demonstrated understanding of the relationship between strategy & operational process enablement. You are able to draw clear connections between people and processes and are able to support stakeholders and process owners with strategic alignment.

You will have excellent analytical skills and data driven approach to provide accurate advice about technical issues to improve day-to-day business performance, develop supporting material and provide input on training for operational processes. You have strong documentation skills and champion creating material to share knowledge and cultivate a database of information and training sources.

You enjoy building trusting relationships, collaborating with your team to achieve business outcomes and engage in qualitative and quantitative research to identify trends and best practice in order to assist with determining priorities for business process improvement. You are an expert influencer and can engage with various stakeholders to draw meaningful contribution and support in reaching outcomes.

You have impeccable communication skills, are organised and a natural problem solver. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience

  2. Demonstrated high-level computing skills including MS Office software suite, and knowledge and contextualised understanding of corporate systems.

  3. Demonstrated capability to map process models and knowledge of process modelling notation standards with a demonstrated understanding of the relationship between strategy & operational process enablement.

  4. Demonstrated capability to use enterprise-level process modelling platforms e.g. ARIS to capture policies, processes, procedures etc. is desirable.

  5. Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE

This position offers a base salary range of $110,065 - $121,490 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
