As a Customer Lending Specialist - Business your performance in supporting lending will help drive the business and is pivotal to the success of Business Home Lending. Your proactivity and passion will help produce quality business referrals and support existing lending customers.

Your enthusiasm to learn lending; support lenders and drive team outcomes is invaluable. You will support the team in giving exceptional customer service, quality information and innovative solutions.

More specifically, you'll:
Support our high volume lenders by helping manage post application administrative flow and capture overflow of leads and appointments (esp. Top-ups) for these lenders and the branch

To assist our high volume lenders to increase their sales and productivity.

Provide relief cover for annual and sick leave of lenders within Area

Shadow our high volume lenders interviews

Develop SME knowledge on POC calling of Home Loan leads

Interact with customers both face-to-face and by phone to develop customer relationships, pursue sales and facilitate customer retention; using your knowledge of the Bank’s products and services to attend to the customers’ identified financial needs

Be alert for cross sell opportunities at every stage of customer interactions

Achieve customer service excellence by understanding and practicing the Bank’s customer service standards

Resolve and respond to customer queries/complaints in a timely and effective manner

Apply sales tools to assess financial risk within your position’s expertise, to protect the Bank’s assets and enhance the financial development opportunities of the customers

Organise and control duties that are delegated and process and complete own daily work as directed

Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety through ensuring that delegated security checks are undertaken in a diligent manner

Undertake any other tasks as required that you have the capability to perform safely (Note: all tasks assigned and carried out must be performed in accordance with all relevant internal Bank policies and external legislative requirements)

We are looking for the below skills and experience:
The ability to work in a busy, commercial, competitive and target-driven environment

A desire to deliver excellent customer service, especially with a passion for our business customers

Prior experience within a sales / lending environment

The ability and willingness to develop sales and service skills

The willingness to accept coaching

The ability to interact with a wide range of customers and colleagues
