As the Manager, Clinical System, Service Design and Planning you are a key member of the NALHN Strategy and Innovation Department and is accountable for the management and leadership of strategic development of service models and systems that support the direction of the organisation as outlined in the Clinical Services Plan and strategic direction.

In this role, you will lead and manage processes to define and support the delivery of required system wide policies and plans (3-5 years) including the coordination, where required, to deliver the system vision as it relates to populations, care settings, clinical services, capital and infrastructure, providers regions and geographies.

Activities of the roles include support strategic and operational planning, commissioning and service delivery frameworks across the continuum of care. Development of key project outcomes as determined by the organisation along with the management of appropriate reporting mechanisms which will form the suite of key performance indicators for NALHN initiatives.

The role will manage implementation of the Clinical Services Plan for the 5-10 year horizon, ensuring the health needs of the community are met in the future and in doing so will participate in horizon scanning and forward thinking activities in relation to Northern Adelaide Local Health Network and the wider SA Health system and co-ordinate analysis, monitoring and supporting national health reform priorities on behalf of SA Health in the SA context as required.

The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and initiative as well as excellent communication and problem solving skills and will take a leading role in developing comprehensive reports, submissions briefing notes and correspondence to NALHN Executive Management, Divisional Directors and other key stakeholders as required.
