Your new company

A well known organisation based in the Eastern suburbs that provides services to members of the community who are experiencing major disadvantages is seeking a payroll officer to join their team on a contract basis for 8 weeks.

Your new role

  • Manage the end to end payroll function to ensure the effective administration of wages and salaries, work cover and employee records.
  • Process fortnightly payroll and ensure high accuracy levels are maintained.
  • Produce reports and monthly payroll ledger processing.
  • Administer salary packaging and dealing with payroll queries.
  • Maintain and update staff records as required.
  • Ensure taxation is correct and all ATO legislation is being adhered to.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience in leading and working effectively in a team.
  • Knowledge and experience using a large payroll system
