THE ROLE

An opportunity exists to join our Procurement team as Contract Specialist. You will work closely with the Group Manager – Procurement, Integrated Gas and Generation to ensure operational supply needs match the supply market to achieve optimal cost outcomes and minimise supply risk in compliance with Origin requirements.

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading end to end process for assigned sourcing activities, including providing accurate status reporting.
• Providing direction on core processes including Origin Energy governance risk mitigation and quality requirements.
• Adjusting priorities to self-manage activities required based on the Business requirements
• Working autonomous and consistently to deliver sourcing activities resolving and problem solving within area of accountability.

• Be a self-starter with a strong ability to follow defined process

• Have the relevant Professional Certification e.g., Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Law, Engineering, Business, or similar relevant discipline
• Have the ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Have experience with Procurement and Supplier Contracts
