The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Consultant to join our Federal Government client based in Docklands, Melbourne.

The position is a contract role until April 2022 with an immediate start. As this role is with Federal Government, you must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain Baseline Security Clearance.

Key Duties

Our client are looking for a Procurement Consultant to join their central procurement team. Key responsibilities will include;

  • Review and draft procurement documentation
  • Participate in all phases of procurement as required
  • Provide advice in all phases of the procurement lifecycle within the Commonwealth procurement framework
  • Provide external governance reporting
  • Provide administrative support
Skills/Experience

In addition, you must have;
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple procurement activities throughout the procurement lifecycle
  • Previous experience in procurement in a Commonwealth procurement framework
  • A proactive approach and motivated attitude
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Candidates must have previous experience in procurement in a Commonwealth procurement framework
