Hosting one million visitors annually, Southport Sharks is one of the largest clubs in Queensland and one of the Gold Coast’s leading clubs with over 55,000 members. Our facility offers a multi-purpose events centre, two restaurants, a café, five bars, two AFL grade ovals, sports facilities, modern 24/7 fitness centre, kids club, gaming facilities and free weekly entertainment, plus a 120-room Mantra hotel.

We are seeking a vibrant Concierge with exceptional customer service skills to join our Front Desk team within the club. 

About the Role...

  • Greet and welcome customers/guests upon their arrival.
  • Provide customers/guests with any assistance or answer any queries.
  • Provide extensive knowledge of the venue and its nearby surroundings.
  • Be familiar with the Club’s marketing programs and events..
  • Assist in arranging travel for guests e.g., taxi service or courtesy bus.
  • Provide knowledge and expertise of services, facilities, and venues at Southport Sharks.

About You…

As someone with previous experience in the hospitality industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and grooming
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Knowledge of club facilities, services, promotional activities and membership procedures
  • Handle any complaints professionally.
  • Uphold and represent the company culture making guests feel welcomed and valued.

The successful applicant must be available to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00 pm through to 10:00pm.
