Role Description

In this role you will facilitate the sale of SAP Concur’s solutions to new and existing customers in Australia and New Zealand. As a Solution Consultant you will interact with prospective customers through discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions. In order to be effective in this role you will need to clearly articulate how SAP Concur’s solutions help organisations gain greater visibility into employee initiated spend, increase process efficiency, drive down operational costs and achieve a rapid return on investment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain thorough knowledge of SAP Concur’s solutions and competitors’ offerings.
  • Compose and deliver superior sales presentations to prospective customer audiences. These presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP Concur and leave a strong impression.
  • Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes configuration of demonstration site to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling presentation.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with key stakeholders, understand their business requirements and diagnose areas for improvement.
  • Map prospective customers’ business objectives and challenges to SAP Concur solutions.
  • Prepare RFP responses in support of customer proposals.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to identify strategic approach most likely to resonate with the customer.
  • Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations
  • 2+ years’ presales experience is preferred
  • Previous experience working with SAP Concur solutions is beneficial
  • Experience working in a finance role and/or selling financial applications is beneficial
