The opportunity
Your new position as a Product Manager will have a key role to partner and support the Group Product Team and Business Partners to plan and deliver all product requirements for key clients (across industry funds, Mastertrusts & Government funds and large corporates).

Essential for success, you will contribute to the development of sustainable group product terms and conditions, including the development of value-adding product solutions.

Key Responsibilities will see you:

  • Be the primary business partner on strategic clients in partnership with the Group Product Business Partner
  • Support product management in the development of disclosure materials and draft policy documents
  • Partner with varied internal and external stakeholders to develop and negotiate product changes
  • Provide risk assessment and product terms on new business opportunities
  • Conduct competitor research to identify areas of opportunity
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Proven experience in group or retail product management roles is preferred
  • Strong experience with life insurance, superannuation, or relevant industry desired
  • Past experience in the knowledge of the Australian group insurance market and understanding of key drivers
  • Ability to communicate, analyse, problem-solve, and negotiate
  • Demonstrated computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat)
