What's so exciting about this role?

In this role, you will ‘own’ our MarCom platforms to unlock the potential of what they can deliver from a digital marketing perspective across all of the humm Group products. You will scope and understand how these platforms operate and integrate in to our marketing suite and ensure that we are locking down BAU processes to be efficient and cost effective as well as opening up new and innovative opportunities within the platforms that will accelerate our growth. You will also be hands on and responsible for ensuring that we deliver on campaign execution through these platforms in both markets. This role will be critical in delivering to our customer communication strategy, where you will be consulting on structure and optimisation of campaigns whilst managing set-up, QA and ultimate deployment of all automated and ad hoc activity.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

  • Build and execute on weekly eDMs, in essence performing the role of a Producer. This will involve working with Marketing Managers to take approved campaigns through to execution which is primarily eDM via Cheetah Digital platform. This includes campaign set-up, data integration, QA & deployment.
  • Establish, monitor and review daily business processes as they relate to our marketing platforms so that all campaigns are delivered seamlessly and cost effectively across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Be a conduit between marketing and the data team to ensure all campaign set up within our marcom platforms is present and accurate.
  • Collaborate with our Senior Manager, Design & Delivery, developing workflow and processes to ensure smooth transition of assets between marketers, creatives, and our marketing platforms.
  • Be responsible for MarCom project management, maintaining WIPs, Agile boards and briefing documentation to ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and without error.
  • Be the core contact point with our marcom partners to identify new opportunities that can be bought to the business to enhance our communications strategy. You will also be focused on managing the spend with these partners and looking for ways to drive efficiencies in our platform delivery.
  • Consult within the creative team on ways to deliver new and innovative content through our marcom platforms. This will include organising training sessions, best practice reviews and identifying new potential third party providers that can help support the growth of the humm Group business.

  • Hands on MarTech experience is essential – Cheetah Digital viewed highly favourably
  • Deep technical understanding of email marketing platforms, data & automation
  • Eye for detail including an understanding of QA processes to ensure exemplary quality
  • Knows their way around digital design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma and online tools like Bannersnack and Shakr
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and campaign management
  • University or TAFE qualification in relevant field viewed favourably
