Job Description


Amazon Australia is looking for an experienced logistics or supply chain professional to own the delivery of initiatives and programs relating to the continuous improvement of After Market Services (reverse logistics). The Program Manager will drive strategic and operational relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including transportation carriers, vendors, sellers, retail in-stock and FBA teams, technology, quality, supply chain, Central Operations, transportation and FC operations teams. You will be responsible for aligning on and driving the execution of the annual program of strategic and tactical initiatives, technology and process change management, benchmarking, capacity and productivity improvements and to drive the delivery of operational metrics improvements. Challenging operations issues require timely resolution through deep analysis and having effective communication with stakeholders to generate options and to align on solutions. You will communicate progress of the program and drive accountability of deliverables with regular, formal communication.

The ideal candidate should have in-depth understanding ofReverse Logistics perations, a track record of delivering results in cross functional teams and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Take ownership of the program of work for Reverse Logistics by leading the development of the annual plan of goals and strategical, tactical and operational projects and initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with operations, retail/FBA team, supply chain, logistics and finance
  • Develop open communication and trusting relationships with retail, FBA and operations teams and create programs/initiatives to improve reverse logistics quality and performance.
  • Publish regular progress updates through monthly newsletters and formal MBR/ QBR reports
  • Work with WW Operations teams and retail program management team to launch reverse logistics tools and technologies
  • Identify and eliminate root causes of defects to drive efficiency in operations
  • Manage escalation of problems to relevant owners / teams and follow through on resolutions
  • Benchmark AU Reverse Logistics Operations with other suitable countries and drive to Best at Amazon status

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years logistics, supply chain or operations experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years logistics, supply chain or operations experience
  • Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management
