We have a unique opportunity for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Brisbane team!

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Work collaboratively and effectively with our team of thought leaders
  • Deepen our client relationships
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Refine our market offerings
  • Influence investments (internally and externally)
Key Focus Areas

  • Client retention
  • New business generation
  • Deep engagement in our projects, understanding of our client’s needs and provision of value add services
  • Effective engagement of the Arq tech office to ensure we are advising, building, optimising and managing our projects and services whilst ensuring constant value add back to our client base.
Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and grow client relationships
  • Engage in the community, be the face of Arq at industry events
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Generating and follow leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Leading and writing proposals and tender responses
  • Tracking and reporting of sales process
  • Develop, maintain and manage a sales pipeline
  • Work with broader Arq team to deliver great outcomes across the breadth of our solutions and services
Skills And Experience

  • Previous experience and proven results in selling professional or managed services across AI, Applications, Cloud, Data, Digital, and ML.
  • Experience selling products that are accompanied by a professional services engagement is also be valued.
  • Credibility with key Arq Group partners, including but not limited to AWS, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake, Sisense, Tableau
  • Ability to sell to IT and the businessAbility to engage with CIO's and CTO's through to software professionals
  • Exceptional sales ability with a proven track record of winning new business
  • Solid understanding of the sales process, commercial negotiations and contracts
  • A passion for technology and innate desire for learning and self-improvement
