Apply your reporting and data analysis experience to support the University’s Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing program.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

Planning and Performance is the central point for the provision of strategic information to decision makers from across the University. The team is responsible for obtaining, manipulating, organising and analysing data from across the University into meaningful, integrated and user-friendly data assets, reports, and business insights.

As Information Architecture Administrator you work within the Business Intelligence Team and are responsible for the planning, design and implementation of the information architecture required to underpin the University’s efforts in combining Data Warehouse assets with other types of data for modelling, analysis and data science initiatives. You will be required to identify, analyse and advise internal stakeholders and users on system and software solutions, as well as design and deliver requirement specifications to create and develop systems and solutions. In addition, this role is also the senior ETL Developer responsible for leading the planning and development of the extraction, transformation, and loading of data for the University’s Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing program.

Your previous experience with dimensionally modelled Data Warehouse environments and ETL / the building of system and data integration using data integration tools will strengthen your application. You will be a skilled communicator, acting as a central reference point, providing guidance and advice throughout the system project decision making process and demonstrating the ability to convey complex technical ideas effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.

To be successful you require a postgraduate degree (or progress towards), preferably in a computing or information systems discipline, with a minimum of 6 years subsequent relevant experience.
