How will I help?

The role of the Fraud Analyst (Digital Fraud) is to monitor recent fraud cases and implement or re-calibrate detection strategies to mitigate ongoing risk and financial loss, whilst ensuring there is a minimal impact on the customer experience, product profitability and brand reputation.

As an analyst, you will analyse and interrogate data to support fraud detection. You will identify emerging fraud trends and make continual improvements to detection system rules and code. In addition, you will provide insights into trends and anomalies to business stakeholders.

What do I need?

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant quantitative discipline such as statistics, actuarial studies or finance, etc.
  • Proven experience within a commercial analytics environment, with experience in a Fraud or Risk Analytics environment being highly advantageous
  • Technical skills in SQL and SAS are essential
  • Experience in machine learning within a commercial environment is highly advantageous
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with and influence none technical stakeholders
