About the job

The Rostering team coordinate and manage the rosters for all direct care staff required across a designated Accommodation and Community Service area, ensuring staffing levels for a 24-hour a day/7 days per week basis is met. You will require the ability to foster positive relationships with the people we support.

We are seeking a casual rostering officer who is available to work on-call and weekends. Hourly rate $31.0743 + 24% loading.

Key Duties include:
Roster all direct care staff across a designated Accommodation and Community Service area;
Arrange replacement direct care staff to cover sick leave, annual leave and unplanned absences;
Verify timesheets for all direct care staff against the roster for every fortnightly pay period, including overtime and time adjustment forms;
Match direct care staff to meet the service needs of clients; and
Liaise with Payroll to respond to staff enquiries regarding pay issues promptly;
Developing positive relationships with our customers and their families.

What you need:
Prior experience in rostering and coordination for large teams;
Understanding of Disability Service Standards and the Quality Framework System;
Ability to work to strict deadlines and multitask;
Well-developed conflict resolution skills; and
Strong administration skills and computer literacy;
Flexible working hours, including weekends (hours will vary between 6am - 8pm 7 days per week).
