As General Manager you will be responsible for the execution of the entire business operations. You will be passionate about creating an operational centre of excellence and for ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Client Details

A privately owned transport company who has serviced NSW for over 40 years. They pride themselves on and are highly regarded for their exception customer service. Having recently been acquired by a large transport consortium, they are in prime position for their next phase of rapid growth under the stewardship of a future state General Manager.

The General Manager will be responsible for the execution of all business activities, these will include but are not exhaustive of:

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership to your team aligned with company values and aligning your team to business objectives.
  • Work closely with the business to maximise total cost of ownership and revenue management. This will be achieved through analytics, market intelligence, insights and effective implementation

  • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through the consistent execution of service standards and initiatives, visible operational leadership and high interaction with customers

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement to all business processes across the region.

  • Monitor and report on the Regions performance, ensuring compliance with Key Performance Indicators across all areas

  • Lead the development of annual operating and CAPEX budgets, and business plans for the region.
  • Work collaboratively with Managers to ensure that workplace and industrial relations are managed within their respective depots


The successful candidate to perform the role of General Manager will be able to demonstrate previous delivery at a similar level. We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading people and encouraging a high performing, inclusive work place.
