Full Job Description
School of Social Sciences

Casual appointment for 6 months
Approximately 30 hours per fortnight
Salary range: Level 5, Step 1: $37.08 per hour plus 9.5% superannuation plus 25% loading

About the opportunity

To contribute to externally funded research projects conducted by the UWA SAGE Living Lab. The role will enable the effective delivery of research and consulting projects relating to aged care, service delivery to older people, and social ageing models. Collect and prepare materials for research and fieldwork

Undertake data collection and research activities
Record, clean, code, input and analyse results
Present data or information to research team with analysis and contribute to reports and publications
Conduct literature reviews
Provide assistance to staff
Other duties as directed

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
Honours or Masters degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Public Health, Population Health or related discipline
PhD commenced in Anthropology, Sociology or closely related discipline
Strong qualitative and quantitative social research skills
Experience working on team research projects, ideally in multicultural and/or public health contexts
Statistical analysis and application skills
Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
