Our Maintenance and Industrial Services Division holds long-standing, key contracts with clients operating in the North West of WA, providing multidisciplinary services to customers in the mining and minerals sector across the Pilbara and surrounding regions.

Due to our growing demands, we are currently seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our team for a Perth based role, with the expectation of ad hoc site visits. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be coordinating a team of HSE advisors and building effective relationships with key stakeholders. Other primary duties will include leading incident investigations and reporting back to the business. We envision the successful candidate to be a leader with strong people management skills.

Key responsibilities:
Lead a small team of HSE Advisors, providing training, direction and mentorship.
Provide technical advice and support to Operational business units to meet the needs of an increasingly diversified business
Provide coaching and guidance to field-based leadership teams
Analyse HSE data, identify trends, and report on all aspects of HSE matters
Provide strategic focus and initiatives to improve HSE performance across the business
Develop and implement programs and workshops in collaboration with site teams
Facilitate/lead risk management processes during all phases of a contract
Provide pre-contract and project-start-up HSE support
Assist management in the investigation of HSE incidents and provide advice on the development of improvement opportunities and recommendations

What you will bring:
Minimum of 5 years' experience within an operational or contractor environment
Minimum Certification IV in OHS or higher
Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar
TapRoot incident investigation training, or similar
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience, with the ability to manage a diverse team
Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in report writing
An ability to engage and develop relationships across all levels of the organisation and with client stakeholders
