We are looking for an experienced Lubrication Technician to join the Nova maintenance team.

Reporting to the Reliability Engineer, the purpose of this role is to implement and optimize the lubrication program at Nova with the aim to improve asset reliability and maximise equipment service life. The successful applicant will also be expected to help execute the site condition monitoring program on a as required basis.

Together with significant experience in a similar role and a pro-active, customer service focus, you will also have the following:

Lead and optimize the Hydrocarbon Management Strategy on site, this includes, lubricant storage, distribution, sampling, replacement of filters, breathers and Easy-lubes, waste management and tooling;
Document the tasks in the Work Management System (Pronto) as directed by supervisor;
Create subsequent work in Pronto based on the result of work execution and inspections;
Perform minor repairs and modifications as needed for the lubrication systems. This includes fabrication and installation of grease lines;
Maintain proper housekeeping for tools, storage and equipment including hydraulic Power Units;
Maintain communication with planning to ensure high priority work is scheduled accordingly;
Interact with suppliers and contractors to ensure high quality outcomes and maximize effectiveness and efficiency in current or new contracts;
Support the maintenance team to perform any required lubrication activities during plant shutdowns;
Complete condition monitoring tasks as required.


This is a full time, permanent role working a FIFO 8:6 dayshift only roster from Perth (or DIDO from surrounding areas).

Experience in using CMMS systems, preferably Pronto, as well as MS Office, Word, Excel;
Experience within a mining fixed plant environment.
Extensive experience and knowledge of bearings, lubrication, oil analysis & thermography.
Strong communication skills across all levels of the business with the ability to engage and build solid working relationships;
5+ years of demonstrated experience in equipment lubrication and service
A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices; and
National Police Clearance obtained within the last 3 months.
